Ryan & Madeline's Seaside Wedding

This past June, our very own son and brother, Ryan, got married to the love of his life! We were thrilled to be apart of their beautiful day and to welcome sweet Madeline into our family. Now that things have slowed down and we’ve been able to digest this huge life event, we have pictures to share of their wedding and the efforts on our behalf!

The wedding took place down at Seaside Chapel which was such a precious white building that looks like it was made for a fairy tale. The church pews were staggered with eucalyptus bundles accented with roses and peonies. The altar had large clear vases with floating white candles lit. Everything was so simple, yet so perfect.

Their invitations reflected the atmosphere of the ceremony and reception with floral accents and soft lettering. The invitation included a custom designed map of Seaside as well as hand-torn edges to give a rustic beachy feel.

The ceremony programs had the same floral design with soft torn edges as well. The sweetest part of the reception were the custom “m heart r” paper fans at each seat. When you have a wedding in the middle of the summer at the beach, you tend to sweat more than you knew your body was capable. These fans were a necessity and the waitstaff appreciated them too by the end of the evening!

One of the most sentimental things about their day was the love notes that Ryan wrote to Madeline for each hour leading up to their ceremony. We helped him with the outer design.. he needed no help at all with the words. Each hour her bridesmaids would give her a different envelope to open. I think a few tears came from these babies.

As for the reception decor, everything was rustic, wooden, and crisp. We built, stained, and painted their table chart which read, “find your seat” at the top. We printed each table’s names on the same paper as the invitations and even tore the edges to keep the look and feel consistent. We also made a smaller welcome sign, a gifts and cards board, and each of the table numbers.

It was such an amazing weekend and day. We were so unbelievably blessed to be surrounded by our family and friends to shower Ryan and Madeline with love. We hope you enjoyed the highlights of their wedding. Stay tuned for Ashlyn’s wedding in April, I’m sure we’ll have so much to share!
